₹3.5 Cr Ferrari Roma Wrecks Hyderabad Apartment Gate At 4 AM

A speeding Ferrari Roma worth over ₹3.5 crore crashed into the main gate of Hill View Apartment on Road No. 5 in Hyderabad’s Film Nagar in the early hours of Sunday, at around 4 AM. The incident created panic among residents who were sleeping when they heard a loud crash. According to eyewitnesses, the red luxury sports car was moving at very high speed when the driver lost control near the apartment entrance.

The car directly rammed into the main gate with full force. The impact was so strong that the front portion of the ₹3.5 crore Ferrari was completely mangled and twisted. The metal gate of the upscale residential building was also broken and bent due to the collision. Pieces of the car and gate were scattered on the road. The accident took place under the jurisdiction of Film Nagar Police Station in Jubilee Hills, one of Hyderabad’s most posh areas.

Soon after the crash, the occupants of the Ferrari got out of the vehicle and fled the spot. Police officials said they are trying to identify the driver and passengers with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the area and nearby buildings. The damaged Ferrari was later towed away to the police station for inspection. Cops have registered a case and started an investigation to find out the exact reason behind the accident.

Local news reports and police sources suspect that drunk driving could be the reason behind the crash, though this has not been officially confirmed yet. No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Residents of Hill View Apartment said this kind of rash driving at night has become a big problem in Jubilee Hills. They have demanded stricter police patrolling and speed breakers to avoid more accidents. This marks the second major car accident in Jubilee Hills in less than a week. Just a few days ago on July 9, an SUV driven by Karthik Kumar crashed into the compound wall of Tollywood actor Dharma’s house.

Police later arrested Kumar after a breathalyser test showed he was under the influence of alcohol. With two luxury car crashes in 7 days, Hyderabad police are now under pressure to take strict action against rash and drunk driving in the area.

Suspected Drunk Driving, Occupants Fled

The incident happened under Film Nagar Police Station limits. According to ANI, the people in the Ferrari ran away from the spot right after the crash. The car was later towed to the police station. Cops have registered a case and are checking CCTV footage to find and identify those involved. Local reports suggest the driver may have been drunk. However, police have not confirmed it yet. No one was hurt in the accident.

2nd Crash In Jubilee Hills This Week

Less than a week ago, an SUV crashed into the house of Tollywood actor Dharma in Jubilee Hills on July 9. The car hit the compound wall. Police arrested the driver, Karthik Kumar. A breathalyser test showed he was drunk. A case was filed against him. No one was injured in that crash either. Residents are now asking for stricter night patrolling and speed checks in Jubilee Hills and Film Nagar.
