Govt Chairs All-Party Meet, Assures No Panic Over West Asia Tensions; Opposition Backs
The Centre told political parties in an all-party meeting that despite the escalating West Asia crisis, India's energy security is not at risk and even more fuel shipments are on the way.
New Delhi (India) March 25:On the West Asia situation, the government today convened an All-Party Meeting in the Parliament House of New Delhi. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was the chairperson of the meeting. It was also graced among others by the Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affair Minister S. Jaishankar, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, JDU Working President Sanjay Jha and Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh.
In the meeting, the government sent a strong and clear message. They said that the situation is still largely under control and there is no reason to panic. It also pointed out that India is working cautiously and confidently with the situation.
