Sanju Samson was honored as Player of the Tournament for his impressive three consecutive half-centuries.
He said, “It feels like a dream. Very happy. Out of words and emotions, just feels a bit surreal. It [the journey] started one or two years before when I was part of the 2024 T20 World Cup [winning squad], but didn’t play a game. I thought I needed to put so much work in order to achieve this moment.”

“[Got] Lots of guidance and suggestions from senior players that have helped me out. For the last couple of months, I have been in constant touch with Sachin [Tendulkar] sir. I thought about my mindset, and had big conversations with him [around that]” in his comments after the win.

Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Match for his mesmerizing figures of 4 for 13.
He said, “It feels extremely special. I have played one final in my home venue, but this one feels really special.I was very motivated and clear in my plans. I used all my experience and today was a wonderful day as all my execution went to plan.”
“Before this tournament I was in the zone where I was trying too hard. But in this format, I let the game come to me. I was prepared and read the situation to the best of my ability”
