Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law Rakesh Tiwari has died in a road accident. Pankaj’s sister Savita Tiwari has also been seriously injured in this road accident. The accident took place on NH2 near Nirsa Chowk in Dhanbad district at around 4 pm on Saturday evening. She is undergoing treatment at SNMMC Hospital in Dhanbad. Her leg was fractured but she is out of danger, as per the latest reports.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, Pankaj Tripathi reached Kolkata airport from Mumbai and left for Dhanbad from there.
The car collided with a divider
Pankaj’s brother-in-law Rajesh Tiwari used to work in the Chittaranjan Railway Factory. He was on his way from Gopalganj to Chittaranjan in a car with his wife Savita Tiwari on this Saturday.
As soon as he reached Nirsa Chowk, he lost control of his car while trying to save an auto. The accelerating car collided with a three feet high divider.
Rajesh Tiwari suffered serious head injury in the accident. The injuries were serious and doctors could not save him. The police of Nirsa police station reached at the accident spot after getting the information of the accident from the help of local people and sent both of them to Dhanbad SNMMC Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately Rakesh died during the treatment. Savita suffered a serious leg fracture but is out of danger now.
Pankaj will go to see his sister
As per the reports, Pankaj is going to reach Dhanbad soon. It has also been informed that he will go there along with his family to take care of his sister. Family members might shift her to Kolkata for better treatment. She is currently undergoing treatment at SNMMC Hospital in Dhanbad.
Pankaj had lost his father in August 2023
The saddening news of the demise of his Brother-in-law might be tough for Pankaj to comprehend. He had recently lost his father too. Pankaj Tripathi lost his father last year in the month of August. His father Pandit Banaras Tiwari died at the age of 99. As per his family, his father’s last rites were performed on the same day. Only the close family members were involved in the last rites rituals.
Chirag Paswan expressed grief
National President of Lok Janshakti Party Chirag Paswan expressed grief over this incident and tagged Pankaj Tripathi. At the same time, those who worked with Munna Tiwari aka Rakesh Tiwari said that the actor’s brother-in-law used to work in Chittaranjan Railway Factory. His duty was in the GM office of Railways. Reportedly he came to his home in Gopalganj for holidays along with his wife. This accident happened while he was returning from Gopalganj to their home in Chittaranjan.
