“Renowned Sikh Journalist Ramandeep Singh Sodhi to Receive ‘Best Journalist Of Punjabi Diaspora Award’ in Dubai”

One of the favorite Sikh journalists across the world, Mr. Ramandeep Singh Sodhi, is going to be honored with the ‘Best Journalist Of Punjabi Diaspora Award’ in Dubai on May 12th , 2024, at ‘Dubai Business Award’ function, hosted by Pixie job & Punj Dareya UK.

Ramandeep Singh Sodhi was born in a small village Ranjitgarh, Sri Muktsar Sahib. He completed his graduation from the Govt College Muktsar and Post Graduation from Panjab University, Chandigarh. His father Surinder Pal Singh is his Mentor and first friend as well. Sodhi usually said that the freedom given by his father and his words, “Do whatever you want my son” are the main keys of his success.

Nowadays, he is living in Jalandhar along with his mother-father, wife and two daughters. He has been with Punjab Kesari Group since January 2015 as a Special Correspondent/Jagbani TV in charge. If we take a bird’s eye view of his journalistic journey, he started his career in Doordarshan Jalandhar’s famous agricultural program “Mera Pind Mere Khet” during his graduation.

After working with some local channels he joined National News Channel ABP News in 2012. After two years, he joined Jagbani TV and is still working with them. He strongly believes that after joining the Punjab Kesari Group, fortune changed for him as the freedom of work, access, and blessings of Directors fulfilled his big dreams just in 9 years.

He did a lot of big profile interviews with Punjab’s 4 Chief Ministers, including Late. Parkash Singh Badal, Captain Amarinder Singh, Charanjit Channi, and Bhagwant Singh Mann besides several national and international politicians. He covered many international interviews and events in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Nepal etc.

His News programs ‘Neta Ji Sat Sri Akal’ and ‘Janta Di Satth’ are the most popular shows in the Punjabi audience. He is the first journalist in the Punjabi diaspora who started big political shows in digital media and covered international assignments more than 20 times. He has done more than 1000 stories and interviews in the world, including numerous superstars of the entertainment industry, including Diljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Ranbir, Binnu Dhillon, Satinder Sartaj, Harbhajan Mann, Ranjit Bawa, Poet Surjeet Pattar and Gurbhajan Gill are also the audience of his political interviews.
