OYO CEO Ritesh Agarwal Receives Startup Pitches While Waiting for Plane Toilet
Ritesh Agarwal, the CEO of OYO, posted a video of an interview in which he recalled the time he was waiting to use the loo on an aeroplane while listening to pitches.
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] February 21: Following his debut on the reality TV program Shark Tank India, where investors analyse expands seeking for investment, OYO CEO Ritesh Agarwal rose to fame. As to the famous entrepreneur, he doesn't only hear business ideas on the show; at times he gets them from the most unlikely sources. He revealed in a recent interview that he had once been in queue to use a toilet on an aeroplane while listening to startup pitches.
“You know startup fever is real when you get pitched regardless of the situation! But honestly, I love the passion and trust young entrepreneurs place in me. If you’re obsessed with your idea, pitch anywhere, anytime,” he said.
The entrepreneur humorously reveals that he had to ask the person to wait for a while by saying, "Mujhe badi tez aayi." In the video, he tells an incident in which he was waiting outside the plane's bathroom when he was approached by someone who wanted to make a pitch. After he finished speaking, Agarwal thought he would use the lavatory, but was Stopped by someone else
