12th July 2023, Mumbai: 1.4 billion Indians worldwide are feeling “proud to be Indian” as a result of India’s current G20 Presidency. Shailendra Singh, an Indian creative entrepreneur, is inspired even more by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s G20 Summit theme of “One Earth, One Family, One Future.” Shailendra wants to help the PM accomplish his goals by bringing an emotional component that might bring the entire world together.

A strong sense of individual and societal identity depends on having a formal address. An address gives each and every resident dignity in addition to enabling the provision of government and emergency services. However, Shailendra Singh believes that every address, in every nation on earth, is insufficient. All of them are lacking something. Something that has the potential to change the world and bring people together simply by being added. On his change.org petition, Shailendra Singh is trying to get people to “add just one more line at the end of every official address”:

Name: Shailendra Singh

Address: Sir Pochkhanawala Rd

City/ State/ Pin: Worli, Mumbai 400025

Country: India

Planet: Earth

Shailendra has simultaneously sent letters to Prime Minister Modi, the UN, the UPU, and every G20 leader and invitee travelling to India for the G20 Summit pleading with them to support his effort and the cause of adding “Earth” to every address.

Founder of Percept Ltd., Sunburn, Guestlist4Good, and Boss Entertainment, Shailendra Singh “The world is humanity’s ego. The truth is Earth. Today, I wrote to Prime Minister Modi to express my gratitude for his global leadership during the G20 presidency. I have asked him, along with every other G20 leader, to join my Earthian movement in this spirit. Every time we write our address, if we see it and write it, we will be reminded that there is no Planet B and that we must do everything in our power to save this one. If PM Modiji and the G20 Global Leaders supported my initiative and used their influence to bring the world together, I would be honoured.”

Part of Shailendra’s Earthian Movement, which has a striking vision of a “united Earthian family that celebrates and protects the only home we have: Planet Earth,” is the petition to “Add Earth to Every Address.” To “create a paradigm shift away from a worldview that thrives on differences and division, to a ‘Earthview’ that celebrates our similarities, respects our differences, and protects our one and only Earth,” is Shailendra’s mission.

Shailendra Singh has been India’s Creative Entrepreneur for three decades, founding 23 successful enterprises in that time. Shailendra Singh is also a renowned philanthropist who is dedicated to teaching Indians to be happy to be Indian and bringing the entire globe together through love. ‘Desh ki Dhadkan’ for Hero Honda, ‘Come Home to India, Come to Siyaram’s’, ‘Bharat hai humara, hum hai Sahara’, ‘glad to be Indian, glad to be Bharti’, and the ‘Jai Ho’ slogan for Congress in the 2009 General Elections are just a few of the India-centric intellectual assets he conceptualised. He organised some of the biggest charitable events ever held in India, including the Hero Honda Goodluck India Match (Kapil Dev vs. Azharuddin), the Sahara Drought Benefit Match (Sachin’s XI vs. Hrithik’s XI), and the Kargil Benefit Concert and Cricket Match (Sachin vs. Shah Rukh). Most recently, he established Guestlist4Good, India’s first and only entertainment-for-good social venture, which registered 2.5 million young people on the largest guestlist in the world and helped fund the education of 128,200 impoverished children.

In 2019, he released the Shailendra Singh and Mithoon-cowritten song One India, My India Anthem4Good, which featured the great voices of Sukwinder Singh, Jubin Nautiyal, and Godswill. He travelled 7,190 km across 11 states, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, for the music video that accompanied the hymn. In 2023, he travelled with the Anthem4Good from the West to the East, from Bhuj to Bengal. Bengali lyrics are sung by Shaan, a favourite playback singer of Bollywood, and Gujurati singer Osman Mir. This anthem4good, co-written by Shailendra Singh and Mithoon, has no sponsors or a commercial goal, so it can be freely distributed among the 1.4 billion Indians worldwide. Shailendra Singh wrote and created the music video for the 2.0 anthem4good in order to emphasise the theme of “peace, love, and unity,” which Shailendra feels should be our future focus.
