Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Injured, Stones Thrown In Road Show

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been attacked with stones while campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections. Reddy was doing ‘Memantha Siddham’ road show in Vijayawada on Saturday. Meanwhile, flowers were also thrown on them. Someone threw a stone between these flowers which went straight and hit the Chief Minister on the forehead. The chief minister was injured due to stone pelting and blood started to flow from his forehead. His security personnel present in the bus immediately gave first aid.

There is no information yet on who threw the stone and why. According to the YSRCP, an unknown person threw a stone along with flowers at the Chief Minister, which injured him above his left eye. However, after the first aid, the CM has once again started doing road shows.

YSR Congress blamed TDP

After the attack on the Chief Minister, the YSR Congress Party has blamed the TDP for the incident.
In a tweet on social media, the party said, Chandrababu Naidu has deployed his goons to attack our Chief Minister in Vijayawada. TDP people are not able to tolerate the popularity of CM Reddy’s visit. The people of the state will answer this on May 13.

CM Reddy is holding a huge rally regarding the Lok Sabha elections. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress is alone in this election. Along with this, BJP has an alliance with TDP. After 6 years, TDP has once again joined hands with BJP and is contesting elections together. Assembly elections are being held in Andhra Pradesh along with the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, CM Reddy is holding rallies.

Voting on May 25 in the fourth phase

Andhra Pradesh has 25 Lok Sabha seats while the Vidhan Sabha has 175 seats. In the fourth phase, voting will be held on May 13 in 25 Lok Sabha seats of Andhra Pradesh. Along with this, votes will also be held for the assembly elections. The Reddy-led YSR Congress Party won a bumper victory in the 2019 assembly elections in the state. YSR Congress won 151 out of 175 seats. After this, Reddy became the Chief Minister for the first time.

Back after a One-Day Break

After a one-day break, Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan is back in the election campaign. Jagan rested for one day on the advice of the doctors. On the 15th day, he started the yatra from Kesarapalli night camp with redoubled enthusiasm. He met the party leaders before the start of today’s bus trip. His eye is still swollen. A plaster was worn on the injured part of the left eye. The YSRCP leaders asked the leader about this injury. Jagan participated in today’s bus yatra with a plaster cast as per doctors’ instructions.
