Joshi Questions Gandhi’s Conduct

Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi also attacked Rahul Gandhi, terming his acts as the absolute lowest of moral bankruptcy.

"Shameful and disgusting! Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party have stooped to an absolute nadir of moral bankruptcy. Weaponising a student interaction to mock and insult the late mother of PM Shri [Narendra Modi] ji reveals a shocking lack of basic human empathy and political culture," Joshi said.

Kesavan Raises Youth Issue

CR Kesavan, BJP leader, said that Rahul Gandhi, who shared the stage at the event with standup comedian Pulkit Mani and cracked Modi's voice, ridiculed an aged woman after calling her as "setting". He was laughing. The incident reflected uncultured culture. It also reflected that Rahul Gandhi failed in convincing the young generation, he added.

"No decent, right-thinking person would have found these foul-mouthed, third-rate antics amusing but Rahul Gandhi was seen laughing aloud on the stage he was sharing with them. Such uncouth culture endorsed by Rahul Gandhi is the reason why he and the Congress have failed to resonate with the youth," Kesavan said.

"Such politics of bitterness and hate, promoted by Rahul Gandhi, is the precise reason why the Congress was routed and blanked out by our youth in the DUSU elections," he added.

Fadnavis Takes A Dig At Rahul

Maharashtra Chief Minister Fadnavis suggested that Rahul take up "stand-up comedy" and said that the Congress leader has already made his own party jobless.

“I feel this is the only job left for Rahul Gandhi now. If Rahul Gandhi takes up the profession of a stand-up comedian and does mimicry there, he could secure very good employment. As for his political party, he has already rendered it unemployed,” he said.

During the 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' programme in Indore on Saturday, Rahul Gandhi took an apparent dig at the government over paper leak and other issues pertaining to students. The programme was being held to bring back the hope that students in the state had lost in the education system, Gandhi said.
