A state run by the Congress party, wants friendly relations with the Center and does not want to engage in conflict with it. We want to help achieve the audacious goal of a USD 5 trillion economy,” Reddy continued.

In his speech in Adilabad, the CM also asked for funding for the state’s metro rail project. Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi is visiting Telangana.

On Monday, he set the groundwork for more than ₹56,000 crore worth of development projects in Adilabad.

The prime minister dedicated the 800 MW (Unit-2) Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli, India, to the country during the event.

The technology behind the project is ultra-supercritical. It would provide Telangana with 85% of its electricity. Among all NTPC power plants, it will also have the best power generation efficiency, at about 42%.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister will participate in yet another open forum in Tamil Nadu

Reddy also discussed Prime Minister Modi’s bold aim to grow India’s economy to $5 trillion. “Your goal is to create an economy worth $5 trillion. There are five major cities that can be reached there: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai. Hyderabad is among the major cities. We would like to participate in your five trillion dollar economy. Please help us with the construction of the Musi River and metro rail.

”The Sabarmati River has been developed by you. Our goal was to develop the 55 km section of the Musi River that runs through Hyderabad. With your help, we can revitalise the Musi river,” declared the chief minister, who took office in December of last year.

Prime Minister Modi set the groundwork for more than 30 development initiatives earlier today. “The 140 crore people in this country are my family,” Prime Minister Modi remarked, addressing a crowd in Adilabad following the groundbreaking of development projects. The growth of the country is the BJP’s top priority. That’s the reason why even the Telangana people say, “Abki baar, 400 paar.”
