For the last few months, the central government has given subsidies on the Ujjwala gas scheme and the general household gas scheme. Due to this, the price of gas cylinders has reduced to a small extent. Now BJP has put forward the goal of providing a gas pipeline to every house. The BJP released its manifesto in Delhi today.
Break in price hike since seven months
Government companies have not increased domestic gas prices for the last seven months. The price of 14.2 kg domestic gas has not been hiked at present. On the contrary, it has been reduced by 300 rupees. While the prices are stable in some months. This change has brought great relief to the customers. Now, whether this change is after the elections or whether this reduction will continue after the elections, it will be revealed soon.
Subsidy of Ujjwala Yojana till next years
Last March, the central government had announced a subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder for poor women under the Ujjwala Yojana. This subsidy was applicable till March 2024. Now this subsidy has been extended till 31 March 2025. The subsidy amount will be directly deposited in the bank account of the beneficiary.

Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had informed about the plan to provide door-to-door gas pipeline facility in the Parliament during Question Hour two years ago. Accordingly, the gas pipeline will be extended across the country. More than 82 percent of the country’s land and 98 percent of the population will be supplied with domestic gas through pipelines. The resolution to build 1000 LNG stations in the country was also abandoned.
Three More Bullet Trains After Mumbai-Ahmedabad Train
Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train work is going on fast. The train is starting soon. This train has been started in the western part. But now three more bullet trains will be started. One of these bullet trains will start in North India. The second bullet train will start in South India. Also a bullet train is going to start in East India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while releasing the BJP manifesto informed that the survey work will be started soon.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that BJP is going to strengthen the foundation of India in the 21st century with three types of infrastructure namely social infrastructure, digital infrastructure and physical infrastructure. For social infrastructure we are opening new educational institutes, universities, medical colleges. For physical infrastructure, we are modernising highways, railways, airways and waterways across the country. For digital infrastructure, we are expanding 5G and working on 6G, Narendra Modi said at the time.
