3rd October 2023, Mumbai: The Asian Games are held every four years, and athletes from all over the world train hard to win and proudly raise their country’s flag. These Asian Games began on September 24. Athletes from all around the world are competing hard and demonstrating their abilities to earn a medal. And we have reached day 10 of the Asian Games 2023. And India continued to win with a total of 62 medals.
On the first day of the Asian Games, India won five medals in total, of which two were bronze and three were silver. On second, India made it to 6 by winning a total of 11 medals, which goes by 2 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze. By day 5, India had successfully secured fifth place with a total of 25 medals, of which six were gold, eight were silver, and eleven were bronze. By day 10, India had made it to fourth place with 62 medals in total: 13 gold, 24 silver, and 25 bronze.
On day 10 of the Asian Games 2023, China is topping the list with over 200 medals. While India made it fourth from fifth with 62 medals in total, on the tenth day, India didn’t lack the ability to show their skills and continued to win. On day 10, India had to be satisfied with only three bronzes. But on the same day, Team India won the match versus Nepal with 23 runs and made their way to the semi-finals of the men’s cricket event.
Asian Games 2023, Day 10 so far! The first bronze was won by Preeti Pawar in women’s 54kg boxing. Then Vithya Ramraj won bronze in women’s 400m hurdles. Another bronze was won by Arjun Singh and Sunil Singh in the men’s canoe double 1000m. In Kabbadi, hockey, and archery, India is securing its place in semis and finals, beating other countries.
To conclude day 10 of the Asian Games 2023, India bagged three medals: one bronze in women’s boxing in 54 kg, another in women’s 400m hurdles and last one in men’s canoe double.
