Cole Palmer’s impressive 2023/24 season with Chelsea in the  Premier League It was an unusual contract for Chelsea.  Palmer arrived from Manchester City for £40 million and has become a key asset for Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea side. He has been instrumental in Chelsea’s success, as evidenced by his goal and assist in the 2-0 win against Sheffield United.  This success saw Palmer set Chelsea a record unique to the Premier League.

 His performances  helped push Chelsea into the top half of the Premier League and earned him praise from former title winner Martin Keown.

 Keown described Palmer as someone who “has it all,” “exudes class in everything he does,” is a “rare talent,” and is “fun to watch.

Palmer’s form this season has also caught the attention of England manager Gareth Southgate, who gave him his first-class debut in November’s qualifiers. If Palmer continues to perform at this level, he could be a strong addition to  the squad that travels to Germany for Euro 2024.
