RCB will play MI in the eliminator
On March 15, which is Friday, Royal Challengers Bangalore will play against Mumbai Indians. The team that wins this match will play the Delhi Capitals in the final on Sunday. Bangalore would want to go to the finals and win their first championship; on the other hand, Mumbai will look to claim the trophy again.

Mumbai Indians have a 3-1 lead over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League. After beating them twice last season, MI got the better of RCB in the Bangalore leg of WPL 2024 as well. Batting first, RCB were held to 131-6, which MI chased down with ease in 15.1 overs. In their reverse fixture, Bangalore hammered the Mumbai Indians by seven wickets. Perry was sensational in that match. She took six fers, which destroyed batters of MI. While batting, she scored an unbeaten 40, which helped her side win the game. Now again, both sides are meeting in the eliminator, so it will be a tough game for both of them.
Perry is excited for the playoffs
After qualifying for the playoffs, Perry shared her thoughts while interacting with the media. “For us, making the finals this year was a huge priority. I think we have started to play some good cricket at the right time, so in any big matches, it’s about turning up and doing absolutely everything you can to win the important moments. Having played eight games together, there’s a good feeling among ourselves about what our roles are. It’s the total team contribution in big moments that is going to be important for us.”
Perry admitted that the WPL is the best tournament in the world. “I think it’s a brand new experience for all of us. This tournament is only in its second year, and it’s really unique if you look at the crowd participation and the way that the tournament’s gone. It’s really incomparable to any other tournament I have played in. So I think looking at our team, we have got lots of great experience across the board, from international and also local players.”
Bangalore are very confident, and this year they have a much better team than last year. So this could be their time to win the cup.
