Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] May 09: People in Punjab were surprised when the lights went off suddenly. It was not a normal power cut. Blackouts were planned for safety. Pakistan had sent 300 to 400 drones from Leh to Sir Creek. These drones tried to reach Indian Army camps. The sudden blackout helped the Indian forces spot drones easily in the night sky. People stayed inside, confused but calm, trusting the army would keep them safe.

India’s Shield Was Ready

Our army was not sleeping. As soon as the drones entered Indian space, soldiers activated powerful defence systems like S-400 Triumph, Barak-8, Akash missiles, and DRDO’s anti-drone tools. These systems were placed in many locations and worked fast. Some drones were stopped before they came too close. The brave soldiers did not panic. They used both force and smart tricks to shoot down most of the drones.

One Base Was Nearly Hit

One of the drones tried to strike the Bhatinda military station. This was a serious move. But our defence team stopped it just in time. This showed how alert and trained our soldiers are. Now, it’s protected by brave men and women soldiers who risk their lives for us. The attempt to hit Bhatinda made people angry, but also proud of our strong response.

India Fights Back Strongly

India did not wait. After stopping the enemy drones, our side sent armed drones to four Pakistani air defence locations. One radar system was destroyed. This was part of Operation Sindoor, which had started a few days earlier. That operation targeted terror camps in Pakistan and PoK. This time, the answer was quick and clear. If someone tries to hurt us, we will hit back harder. The soldiers didn’t just protect, they acted with power and pride.

Ambala and Other Cities Stayed Alert

Cities like Ambala, known for its Air Force station, followed strict rules. Lights were switched off. People were not allowed to use inverters or outdoor lights from 8 pm to 6 am. These steps may feel small, but they help during war-like times. Many cities, from Amritsar to Bhuj, were ready for anything.
