Health and fitness are what everyone is talking about these days. Many young adults are obsessed with creating the perfect bodies to look like their mentors in Bollywood. However, fitness and health can sometimes take a backseat in today’s busy world. Science tells us that even a four-day workout routine can be really helpful in creating good overall health and stamina. Most of the actors follow strict workout routines, which help them create a magic charisma on screen that we all enjoy. Often, their fans are very curious about their fitness and workout routines. Let’s take a look at these four Bollywood actors and their fitness routines.

1) Ranveer Singh: The “Simmba” actor has a body build that is to die for. Whether you have witnessed him in his recent Rocky and Rani ki Prem Kahani or Gully Boy, the actor looks fiercely fit and attractive in all of his films. His bulging arms are the first thing that one will notice on screen. His trainer, Lloyd Stevens, reportedly recommends V-Bar push-downs, lying dumbbell extensions, underhand straight bar extensions, diamond press-ups for the triceps, standing EZ bar curls, seated dumbbell hammer curls, and chest-supported spider curls for the biceps. He has a high-protein, low-carb diet to complement his workouts. Now we know why he looks so charismatic in every frame!

2) Bijay Anand: The man is more inclined towards natural supplements and diet for his fitness, and hence his fitness routine is quite inspiring. He is an actor turned Kundalini Yoga Guru who is very much immersed in meditation and other yogic practices to maintain his overall health. He wakes up daily at 4.30 AM and either starts his day with yoga or goes to the gym for strength training. He does the same for about 2 hours, and even on holidays, he is known to not take any breaks. He swears by his Ayurveda principles and takes only a nature-based diet. He doesn’t drink water with his food. He frequently attends healing festivals and other spiritual programs. Twice a week, the actor gets a body massage with sesame oil. He also indulges in a lot of ghee according to his requirements and eats his dinner at 6:30 p.m. He also does Shankha Prakshalan twice a year, which is an effective technique for cleansing the gastrointestinal canal. As it is said, our gut health hugely impacts our physical and mental health, and Bijay surely takes care of both. He says,” Being into yoga helps me to live on zero pressure.”

3) Shahid Kapoor: Next, we have Shahid Kapoor, who is seen with a fit and graceful body in all his projects. The actor keeps a nice combination of squats, lunges, leg presses, and calf raises. He also does shoulder workouts, which include exercises like military presses, lateral raises, front raises, reverse fly, and shrugs. The actor chooses to do a cardio routine for 30–40 minutes, which includes swimming, running, or cycling. He also works on his cores with planks, crunches, leg raises, and Russian twists.

4) Hrithik Roshan: Last but certainly not least is Hrithik, and who doesn’t know about his love for fitness and health? He is a leading figure in the fitness industry and frequently posts about his fitness journey for every character that he plays. At close to 50, he is still one of the fittest guys in the industry. Recently, his fitness trainer, Kris Gethin, shared his exact fitness routine, which includes training five days a week with one or two days off and on. He says that his weight training sessions last for 45–60 minutes. In each session, they focus on two body parts. Hrithik focuses on completing a minimum of 10,000 steps every day on top of his cardio. He either goes for a jog or a swim for about 40 minutes. Hrithik goes to bed at about 9 p.m. every day and drinks a lot of water each day.

Reading these fitness regimes can have a great impact on our motivation and inspiration to stay fit and healthy. Let’s give our body what it deserves.
