Delhi Woman Hires 19-Year-Old Killer to Murder Husband, Files Missing Report
A post-mortem confirmed killing as the cause of death, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia.

On February 3, the Delhi Police discovered an unidentified man's body in a rain drain close to the FCI godown in Shakti Nagar, North Delhi. A post-mortem was performed on the mortal remains. The dead was identified by fingerprints as Sonu Nagar, a native of Paharganj with a criminal record.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia, strangulation was determined to be the cause of death for Nagar by post-mortem.
Sarita, Nagar's wife, reported a missing person to the Gulabi Bagh police station in between. She said that two unknown guys had stolen her husband from their home on a motorbike, according to a PTI report.
DCP Banthia told PTI, however, that police discovered inconsistencies in her story.
A special investigative team (SIT) was established, and after analysing IPDR data, CCTV footage, and call detail records (CDR), it was discovered that certain Punjabi individuals had travelled to Delhi before to the murder and were in proximity of the crime scene.
Sarita and her mother were in communication with several Punjab-based lines, including one that was frequently used in the Gulabi Bagh neighbourhood of Delhi, according to the investigation.
Sonu was one of three males spotted riding a motorbike towards Shakti Nagar, where his body was later dumped of, based on CCTV evidence.
Police captured 19-year-old Bagga Singh during a raid in Muktsar based on these leads. According to the PTI report, Singh admitted to the crime during questioning and disclosed that Sarita had employed them to murder her husband.
The woman hired a contract murderer, but why?
Sarita had been wed to Sonu Nagar, according to the police. But because of property disputes, she wanted to get rid of him. She allegedly planned his murder alongside Bagga and Gurpreet. The two then dumped Sonu's body after carrying out the crime at his Gulabi Bagh home.
According to authorities, his accomplice, Gurpreet, is still avoiding capture.
Along with the motorcycle used in the crime, Sonu's cell phone was found in Bagga. Police said they are still searching to find more suspects and to confirm other information about the conspiracy.
