According to reliable sources in the OTT space, actor Rayya Labib has been approached for a pivotal role in the next season of Alt Balaji’s Gandi Baat.
The role in discussion is a very steamy role of a hot Indian village woman or “bhabhi” who is addicted to making “reels” and can go to any extent to get the perfect “shot”.
Sources at Alt Balaji feigned ignorance and Rayya Labib refused to speak on the subject, but sources confirmed the next season was definitely coming up with hotter and bolder content than before.
The last season of the erotic web series Gandi Baat season 6 premiered on 21 January 2021 and while the production house is mum over the next edition, Season 7 has been in the making for some time now.
It was reportedly delayed after the Government of India mandated new rules for OTT platforms regarding obscenity and bold content, making the present format possibly unviable.
Actor Rayya Labib’s festival film It’s Over starring Bigg Boss season 8 contestant and actor Aarya Babbar and directed by Dhiraj Kumar is set for release.
She is of Turkish-Iranian-origin, but was born in Assam. She has also acted in Sanjay Khandelwal’s project Lakme and worked with director Maneesh F Singh in the film Green Terror, which was partly shot in Pakistan.
Rayya is currently doing a series of mythological web series for an OTT APP.
