27 May 2023, Mumbai: The highly anticipated Cannes Film Festival welcomed a new addition to its star-studded lineup this year as Bollywood’s beloved superstar, Anushka Sharma, made her grand debut on the red carpet. Adorned in a cream-colored off-shoulder gown by renowned British designer Richard Quinn, Anushka Sharma mesmerized onlookers with her grace and beauty.
The dress, part of Quinn’s Fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection, featured statement 3-D florals on the shoulder, extending nearly up to the waist. The rest of the gown was crafted from creamy satin, embellished with geometric and floral embroidered detailing reminiscent of the exquisite Indian jaal embroidery. Styled by Priyanka Kapadia, Anushka opted for minimal accessories, donning dainty Chopard drop earrings and sparkling baubles on her fingers. Completing the look, she wore silver Gianvito Rossi heeled sandals, while her tight, slick updo highlighted the striking rosettes on her shoulder. Her makeup consisted of soft brown smoky eyes and a pinkish brown lip, complementing the creaminess of her gown.
