26th October 2023, Mumbai: Singer and former Stray Kids’ member Kim Woojin is making waves on the internet following his debut performance in Delhi as part of his India tour. He has captured the hearts of his Indian fans by surprising them with a performance to Shah Rukh Khan’s popular song “Chaleya” from the movie Jawan.
In the video, Kim Woojin confidently took center stage, showcasing his dance skills to “Chaleya.” His performance was spot-on, mastering the signature dance moves. He sported a white T-shirt paired with a red jacket and distressed jeans, impressing the audience.
Accompanied by background dancers, Kim Woojin delivered a brief yet unforgettable performance. The audience responded with enthusiastic cheers, captured vividly in the viral video where fans expressed their joy through shouts and screams.
In response to the video, a user expressed on X… “Srk stardom.” “This is the reason we call Shah Rukh Khan a global superstar,” adds another user. Someone also exclaims, “Koreans are highly intelligent and hardworking; they know exactly where to strike and how to win over their audience. That’s why they have become so famous and have crafted themselves as a major entertainment industry in such a short time.”
After receiving an overwhelming response from fans, Kim Woojin shared a dance video on his Instagram account, once again grooving to “Chaleya.” The song, sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao, is from the film Jawan and features Shah Rukh Khan with Nayanthara.
Kim Woojin is set to perform in Dimapur next, followed by appearances in Bengaluru and Mumbai. In Mumbai, he will host a short concert, along with a meet-and-greet session.
After participating in a survival show in 2017, JYP Entertainment recruited him into Stray Kids. However, he left the group two years later, subsequently joining 10x Entertainment. In 2021, he marked his solo debut by releasing his first mini-album, “The Moment: A Minor.”
