21 October 2023, Mumbai: Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s much-anticipated action film, Ganapath, had a somewhat underwhelming start at the Indian box office on its opening day. According to early estimates, the film managed to collect ₹2.5 crore in India on its first day. Ganapath, which also features the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, was in competition with Divya Khosla Kumar’s Yaariyan 2 but managed to fare better in terms of earnings.

Despite the buzz surrounding Ganapath, it recorded a relatively low occupancy rate of 9.72 percent for Hindi shows on Friday.
