16th March, Mumbai: Neha Mahajan’s birthday party, which was held recently, was clearly the talk of the town! With celebrities such as Reem Shaikh, Kanika Maan, Nishant Malkhani, Nyyrra M. Banejee Charrul Malik, Munisha Khatwani, Aishwarya Khare, Aditi Sharma, Harsh Rajput, Debattama Saha, Ridhiema Tiwari, Jaskaran Singh, Kanwar Dhillon, Parull Chaudhry, and Rohit Verma in attendance, the bash was a super-duper hit! And all thanks to her husband, actor Adhvik Mahajan who organised it!
“It was my birthday on the 12th of March, Sunday and I wanted to celebrate it with the most important person in my life; my husband Adhvik. So, we did that. Also, I checked with most of my friends and they were available on the 13th, so I thought it would be better to celebrate with them on the 13th. And this way I got to celebrate my birthday for two days!” says an elated Neha.
What about gifts? “Well, I’m giving myself a special vacation with my close friends. Adhvik has given me the biggest gift a husband can give his wife; help her realise her true potential, make her believe in her own dreams and then support her madly to achieve her dreams. If I am independent and flying today, its because he is the wind beneath my wings, always pushing me to fly higher. He gave me a surprise gift too!” she says.
Ask her if she also hates growing older, like many in the industry, and she says, “For me, age is truly a number. According to me, one should be young at heart, no matter how old you are, then only will you be able to truly enjoy your life.”
As far as memorable birthdays go, Neha says, “For me, my birthday is very important. I’m as excited as I was when I was a kid and I always make sure that I celebrate my day in such a way that I should remember it the entire year. So, every birthday I make sure I create some new memories which I can cherish for life!”
Meanwhile, both Neha and Adhvik enjoy a great camaraderie in the industry, “With the grace of God, we both have earned it over the years by just being loving, kind towards everyone and we are grateful that we are blessed with friends who have always reciprocated with the same feelings and gestures. Also, we are true Yaaron Ke Yaar Punjabis after all!” she laughs. Adhvik Mahajan took care of all the guests personally.
