Pooja Bhatt’s positive Covid-19 test raises concerns about new variants and continued spread

24th March, Mumbai: Actress Pooja Bhatt announced on Friday morning that she has tested positive for COVID-19. In a social media update, she encouraged people to wear masks and stay vigilant, emphasising that the COVID-19 disease is still prevalent.

Pooja Bhatt tweeted that exactly three years later, she has tested positive for the first time for COVID-19, despite being fully vaccinated. She urged people to wear masks and reminded them that COVID-19 is still a prevalent threat. Pooja expressed hope to recover soon and return to normalcy.

Mahesh Bhatt’s eldest daughter, Pooja, started her acting career in 1989 at the age of 17 with Daddy, a TV movie directed by her father. In the movie, she played the role of a troubled teenager who has a strained relationship with her father.

Pooja Bhatt grabbed attention for her successful musical collaboration with Aamir Khan in the 1991 film “Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin”. In addition to acting, she has also ventured into directing and has worked on films such as “Kajraare” and “Jism 2”.

Pooja has also appeared in the web series ‘Bombay Begums’ and the movie ‘Sadak 2’.
