Munawar Faruqui, the Bigg Boss 17 winner, was warmly welcomed by the Dongri crowd. Following his three and a half months in the house, Munawar emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss House.Munawar Faruqui, who emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 17, got a grand welcome home as his fans thronged the streets of Dongri to catch a glimpse of their favourite reality star. The stand-up comedian returned home after staying inside the BB 17 house for three and a half months. He won the title of Bigg Boss 17, while his good friends Abhishek Kumar and Mannara Chopra emerged as the first and second runner-ups respectively. Munawar received a sweet gift from his son Mikhail, who has been cheering on his father’s Bigg Boss 17 victory, once he got home. His folks planned a small party at his house. Munawar and his son Mikhail were spotted cutting cakes as they celebrated their Bigg Boss 17 victory.

Mikhail is a carbon copy of his father

The videos from the celebrations are doing the rounds on social media where they can be seen cutting cakes. Mikhail is a carbon copy of his father Munawar and looked super and happy while cutting cakes in the video. Thousands of Munawar’s supporters clogged Dongri’s roadways, waiting to support and encourage him as he returned home following his Bigg Boss 17 victory. Munawar’s birthday coincided with his Bigg Boss 17 victory. Following the conclusion, the stand-up comedian who later became a singer shared a picture of himself holding his trophy on social media alongside Bollywood actor and Bigg Boss host Salman Khan.

After winning the competition and emerging from the BB 17 house, Munawar recently spoke with ETimes TV. He revealed his dread of his son viewing the episodes and discovering his blunders.He said ,” he said, “Yes, when things were said about me I was very worried about my son and what he would think about me. But now I want my son to see it and I want to tell me that I did this and this is wrong and please you never do this. Main nahi chahunga Tu aisa kare, this is not the right thing to do. I have realised this and aisi point par realise hua when I was totally devastated. If I have gone through maybe this is a lesson for many others but through me.”

Munawar has won a reality show for the second time

Munawar talked about history repeating itself with this second victory on a reality show. He thanked his followers and shared, “This was more than a deja-vu moment for me. Of course, I entered the show intending to win, but there was a lot of baggage that I was carrying. And now, when I reflect on my journey, this trophy feels quite heavy. Fortunately, I had strong shoulders and hence I could carry the weight and bring home the trophy.”
