23 october 2023, Mumbai: Vijay-starrer “Leo” has taken the box office by storm, rapidly ascending to become the actor’s highest-grossing film globally, surpassing his previous venture, “Varisu.” Over the weekend, fervent fans of Thalapathy Vijay flocked to theaters to witness this cinematic spectacle. “Leo” would rake in approximately Rs 40 crore on Sunday, but the film exceeded expectations, amassing a substantial Rs 41.50 crore on that day. Consequently, its domestic earnings have now reached a total of Rs 181.35 crore.

According to the Comscore global chart, “Leo” made a grand entrance, securing the third position for the weekend in worldwide box office collections, just trailing Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of The Flower Moon” and Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” film.
