31 August 2023, Mumbai: Gadar 2 continues to make its mark at the box office, showing steady growth even after 20 days since its release. The Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer, directed by Anil Sharma, witnessed a significant surge in its collection on Raksha Bandhan. With a one plus one offer on tickets for the holiday, the film’s performance saw a boost of around 71 percent, raking in approximately ₹8.75 crore.

As the film’s journey at the box office unfolds, it has now amassed an impressive ₹474.5 crore in just 20 days. Since its grand opening with ₹40 crore on August 11 and an astounding collection of ₹284 crore in its first week, Gadar 2 has secured its position as the leading Indian grosser of the year, surpassing even “Pathaan.”

The film continued its triumphant run by adding another ₹134 crore in its second week, inching closer to the remarkable ₹500 crore milestone. The anticipation is high, and Gadar 2 is expected to not only surpass “Pathaan” but also surpass the iconic “Baahubali: The Conclusion” as the highest-grossing film in the history of the domestic box office.
