79-year-old veteran actor Arun Bali passed away this morning in Mumbai, according to sources citing his family. The actor passed away from a rare neurological disease for which he had been hospitalised earlier this year. He was last seen in the Aamir Khan-starring film “Laal Singh Chaddha.”
According to reports, the senior actor had Myasthenia Gravis, a long-term autoimmune neuromuscular illness that causes skeletal muscle weakness that gets worse after periods of exercise.
With Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, and Rashmika Mandanna as his co-stars in “Goodbye,” veteran actor Bali has his final film out today.
Bali, who has been in numerous movies and TV shows, is most known for his portrayal of King Porus in the 1991 historical drama Chanakya. Among other films, he appeared in “Hey Ram,” “3 Idiots,” and “Kedarnath.”
