26th October 2023, Mumbai: Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim embraced parenthood this year with the arrival of their first child, Ruhaan. The couple, known for sharing their daily life moments on social media, recently shared a concerning situation with their fans.
Dipika Kakar Alert Her Admires Of A Scam
Dipika Kakar said in a recent video that she had been defrauded in the last few days. She wanted to keep her admirers up to date, so she published the information after double-checking with others.
According to the actress, “Around 3-4 days back, mere ghar pe ek parcel aaya ki ma’am aapka cash on delivery hain. Toh mein online cheezein mangwaati rehti hu, kabhi apne liye, kabhi Ruhaan ke liye. (I received a parcel and the mode of payment was cash on delivery. I keep ordering things for me and Ruhaan, and others.)”
Dipika Kakar received a parcel at her doorstep with her correct details, which she accepted and paid for in cash. Upon opening it, she realized it wasn’t something she had ordered. In the following days, she kept receiving similar parcels but chose not to accept them. When asked for the cancellation OTP by the delivery agent, she refused.
After discussing the matter with others, Dipika discovered it was a prevailing scam where items were being ordered automatically and sent for cash on delivery. She warned her followers not to share the OTP with delivery agents. Later, when more parcels arrived, she returned them and refused to provide the OTP, prompting the delivery agents to take the items back.
