Arunesh Kumar from Bihar Honoured With “National Youth Award” In National Youth Festival

Arunesh Kumar of Patna was honoured with the ‘National Youth Award’ by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for his remarkable contribution in the social service sector. This award has been given to Arunesh for helping people by using social media properly during the lockdown during the Corona period.

At the National Youth Festival 2023 held in Hubli, Karnataka, Arunesh Kumar of Patna was honoured with ‘National Youth Award’ for his contribution in social sectors. This award has been given to Arunesh for helping people during the first wave of corona infection, for his special contribution in the field of blood donation, social work done in the field of environment and waste management and his work done in the field of animal care. Arunesh is pursuing B.Ed in Patna University. Let us tell you that Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, Union Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot gave this award.

In Patna Arunesh Kumar, popularly known as ‘Blood Man’, looked very happy after receiving this award. Arunesh had gone to Hubli in Karnataka to attend the programme. Where Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Youth Festival. In this festival, the youth who have made outstanding contributions in the social sector in different states of the country were awarded with the National Youth Award. After the year 2015, no youth from Bihar had received this national award. Let us tell you that in the year 2019-20, Arunesh Kumar, a resident of Aditya Puri, Patna, was selected for the National Youth Award in the individual category for his excellent social work. Arunesh holds a Master’s degree in Rural Development.

Arunesh is associated with social work in Patna

Arunesh Kumar has been associated with social work since 2014. Arunesh did his schooling in Saraswati Vidya Mandir. They have been given the knowledge of their moral responsibilities towards society since childhood. This is the reason that in 2014, when he passed the 12th class examination, he made up his mind to do social work in his spare time. After this he took interest in social work many times by distributing blankets among the poor in cold weather. After that, the scope of his work gradually increased and he started getting involved in many social works in Patna.

Means to encourage Indian youth

Let us tell you that this award is given by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, to encourage Indian youth and develop a sense of responsibility towards society. Given every year. For this, the Ministry also organises the National Youth Festival every year. Where selected youths from all over the country are appreciated for their better works. Although this honour was not given for the last three years due to Corona, but now this year it has been started again.
