India Hits 9 Terror Camps in Pakistan, Kills 100 in Op Sindoor

New Delhi (Delhi) [India] May 08: In a room full of leaders with different views, one voice echoed unity—India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. At an all-party meeting in Parliament, he shared news that made the nation sit up. Over 100 terrorists were eliminated in Indian strikes under Operation Sindoor. These strikes were not random—they were a firm message from India to those who harm peace. The minister also reminded everyone that India does not want to increase tensions. But if pushed, the country will never step back.

Nine Targets, One Mission

The strikes under Operation Sindoor were carried out at nine places across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Each strike was planned carefully and focused on areas where terrorist camps were hiding. India’s forces showed perfect timing and courage in carrying out this mission. History shows such cross-border actions are rare and risky, but India acted with clarity. Past operations like the 2016 surgical strike inspired this mission, but Op Sindoor is much larger in scale and impact. It is India’s latest step in keeping her people safe from terror.

Unity Beyond Politics

During the meeting, Rajnath Singh made one thing clear—this was not the time for political blame games. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju later told the media that leaders from all parties supported the move. This support showed maturity and patriotism. When the country faces danger, our leaders know how to stand together. Such unity has been seen before, during national crises like the Kargil War in 1999. This coming together reminds citizens that national safety always comes before political fights.

No Escalation, Only Defence

India has always believed in peace. Rajnath Singh repeated that this mission was not meant to start a war. It was meant to stop danger before it reached Indian homes. He warned Pakistan—if any provocation comes from them, India will give a reply. But our aim remains peace and protection. In the past too, India has shown restraint, even when attacked. But when our patience ends, our answer is always firm. This time, that answer came as Operation Sindoor, and it showed the world our strength.

A Legacy of Courage

Operation Sindoor joins the list of India’s bold defence moves. From the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War to the Balakot air strikes in 2019, India’s military has stepped up when needed. Each operation builds a legacy of courage and smart planning. Sindoor means ‘sacred red’ in Hindi, and this operation’s name symbolises sacrifice and strength.
