New Delhi (India) March 28:Iran-related hackers have aired the violation of personal FBI Director Kash Patel's email, posting pictures of the director and his alleged resume on the web. The hacker group Handala Hack Team on their site said that " Patel will now find his name among the list of successfully hacked victims."
A Justice Department spokesperson verified the infiltration of Patel's emails however they gave no other facts. The FBI did not immediately reply to a request for comment. The hackers also did not immediately respond to messages. 

Handala Mocks FBI's 'Impenetrable' Systems

According to the group, this operation was dedicated to the "martyrs of the Dena destroyer" but at the same time, they warned that it was only the beginning.
“Today, once again, the world witnessed the collapse of America's so-called security legends. While the FBI proudly seized our domains and immediately announced a $10 million reward for the heads of Handala Hack members, we decided to respond to this ridiculous show in a way that will be remembered forever,” the Handala group said.

The group added, "Kash Patel, the current head of the FBI, who once saw his name displayed with pride on the agency's headquarters, will now find his name among the list of successfully hacked victims. The so-called "impenetrable" systems of the FBI were brought to their knees within hours by our team. All personal and confidential information of Kash Patel, including emails, conversations, documents, and even classified files, is now available for public download.”

Patel's Photos and Resume Exposed

The timeline of the alleged breach remains unclear, though reports had indicated that Patel was among individuals targeted in an Iranian-linked hacking campaign. Along with the post, the hackers uploaded more than six pictures of Patel, including one showing him standing next to a vintage sports car and another one with a cigar. Besides this, the group alleged that they had leaked emails and other materials from the account, many of which, in fact, were related to personal travel and business activities dating back over a decade.

Handala: Pro-Iran Hackers Hit Stryker, Eyed by US

Handala, a hacking group characterized as pro-Iranian and pro-Palestinian, has in the past claimed responsibility for cyberattacks among which was the recent disruption at Stryker. The group claimed that the incident was in their response to the US strikes that they accused of killing Iranian schoolchildren.
US authorities have also made the group a target in their recent actions. The Department of Justice announced on Friday the taking over of four web domains connected to Iranian hacking activities and threats against dissidents, by the way, Handala was named as one of the various proxy cyber groups in the ecosystem.

Tensions Rise in Middle East Conflict

Regarding the Middle East conflict, the warring parties have planted their attacks one after the other. Donald Trump has warned Iran however the US president also gave a deadline for the Islamic Republic to open the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Israel has warned about launching an unprecedented attack. Nevertheless, Iran has not only sworn to defend itself, but also launched attacks on Israel and US bases in the Gulf.
