Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, is designated as the birthplace of the awaited avatar, prompting the construction of Kalki Dham. Uncommonly, this temple precedes the avatar’s birth, setting it apart from traditional temple constructions.
The Envisioned Appearance
The ‘Agni Purana’ describes Kalki as a horseman wielding a bow and arrow, riding a white horse named Devadatta. Endowed with 64 arts and empowered by Lord Shiva, Kalki embodies miraculous capabilities.

Spanning five acres and projected to finish in five years, the temple shares architectural resemblances with Ayodhya Ram Mandir and Somnath Temple. Constructed with pink stone and devoid of steel frames, its ‘Shikhara’ will rise 108 ft high.

While Kalki Peeth remains intact, a new idol of Lord Kalki will be sculpted. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, akin to the Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony, will infuse divinity into the idol.
