Routine Raids in Lal Chowk Foil Hidden Threats

Security officers reviewed hotel owners’ documents and verified the credentials of guests at different establishments. With caution, given the sensitive nature of the day and ongoing security concerns, the exercise was performed.
Being one of the highest-profile and strategically important places, Lal Chowk remains under surveillance during important occasions. Sources said the operation was a precautionary one since there might be trouble in some sort of security threat, and to ensure no suspicious activity passes unnoticed. Unannounced inspections like any other are the standard precautions done to ensure law and order in unsafe zones.
