His mentioning of "Bridge Day" is a response to the US troops hitting an under-construction bridge near Tehran. The attack resulted in eight dead, several injured according to Iran .
The President has given such deadlines before but has also extended them when the mediators have claimed that there has been progress towards the end of the war, which naturally has resulted in the death of thousands, disruption in energy supply and the increase in fuel prices within just over five weeks.
