NCP leader Sharad Pawar has shocked the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP leader Darhysheel Mohite Patil is joining NCP. He has resigned from all his posts in BJP. He met Sharad Pawar in Pune on Thursday. After that, the information has come to light that Mohite has resigned from BJP membership and post. He had sent a resignation letter to BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule on April 10. There are reports that after leaving the BJP, Mohite Patil will be nominated for the Madha Lok Sabha constituency by the Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP.

Definitely going to NCP

BJP has nominated Ranjit Singh Nimbalkar for the grand alliance from Madha Lok Sabha constituency. So the patient Mohite Patil was upset. The supporters of Mohite Patil held a meeting in Akluj and demonstrated their strength. After he met Sharad Pawar in Pune city on Thursday, it became clear that he will quit the BJP. Now he will go straight to Sharad Pawar’s NCP.

Mohite Patil will enter the Nationalist Sharad Pawar Group in the presence of Sharad Pawar in Akluj tomorrow on Saturday. It is now considered almost certain that he will contest the elections from Madha Lok Sabha Constituency on Tutari symbol.

What was said in the resignation letter

In the resignation letter sent to Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the courageous Mohite Patil has said that I have held the responsibility of the post of general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, Solapur district organisation. Also, I have the responsibility of Malshiras Vidhan Sabha election chief. During this tenure, he worked to form and implement organisations such as the District, Mandal Executive Committee, Morcha, Cell etc. Also, Shakti Kendra, Super Warrior, and booth structures were activated. Organised various programs from time to time to reach the masses through organisations and booths. I express my gratitude for the trust you have shown in me and the opportunity given to me and I would like to inform you that I am resigning from all posts of Bharatiya Janata Party as well as membership of Bharatiya Janata Party due to my personal reasons.

Praful Patel Statement

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel has claimed that when Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy CM in the Maharashtra government last year, party founder Sharad Pawar was also ’50 percent’ ready to go with the government. Let us tell you that on July 2 last year, Ajit Pawar had divided NCP. Then along with him, 8 ministers of Maharashtra government joined the BJP-Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) government.

Praful Patel, who belongs to the Ajit Pawar faction, told the agency, ‘On July 2, 2023, Ajit Pawar and our ministers joined the Maharashtra government and took oath. On 15th and 16th July we met Sharad Pawar in Mumbai. We took his blessings and requested him to join us. We said that we want to work under your leadership. Later Ajit and Sharad Pawar met in Pune. I believe that Sharad Pawar was 50 percent ready.
