When Aamir Khan Was Surprised To Know Ranbir Kapoor's Favourite Film Of The Actor: 'I Thought Ranbir Is Pulling My Leg'
Actor Aamir Khan recently opened up in an interview with BBC Asian Network about his perspectives on some of his films. Among the topics discussed, Aamir shared his thoughts on 'Ishq' and shared an interesting anecdote about Ranbir Kapoor’s unexpected love for one of his lesser-known movies, Awwal Number. But at first, I thought that Ranbir is pulling my leg. I said, ‘Come on, don’t pull my leg.’ But then he started narrating each scene and each and every dialogue of the film to me. He said, ‘You don’t understand, I was a small kid when I was watching this film. In my eyes, this film is one of my favourite films.’ I was like, ‘Okay, what can I say?’” Aamir's favourite films When asked to name his own favourites, Aamir found it challenging to choose but highlighted some standout films from his career. “It is very difficult for me to choose, but there are some I am really happy about. One of them is Taare Zameen Par, 3 Idiots. I also love Lagaan, and Dangal is a great film. Even PK, Ghajini, and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, all these are difficult films to choose from,” he said. Currently, Aamir is focused on promoting his latest project, 'Laapataa Ladies', which has garnered significant attention. The film, India’s official submission to the Oscars this year, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received critical acclaim upon its streaming release on Netflix. The actor will next be seen in 'Sitaare Zameen Par' which will be released in 2025.
