Maken also added, "If there is one word to describe former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal here then it would be ‘Farziwal’."
AAP's Strong Rebuttal
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi anad AAP leaders Sanjay Singh in response, slammed Maken's statements, accusing him of acting at the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Singh stated, "Ajay Maken reads the BJP script, makes statements at the BJP’s behest, and targets AAP leaders on BJP’s instructions."
Ultimatum to Congress
AAP has demanded that the Congress leadership take disciplinary action against Maken within 24 hours. Failing this, AAP threatens to appeal to other members of the INDIA alliance to consider expelling Congress from the coalition. Atishi commented, "If Congress thinks we (AAP) are anti-national, then why did they contest Lok Sabha elections in alliance with us?"
