New Delhi (India) December 14: As the National Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Bihar's Minister Nitin Nabin has officially assumed the position today, as confirmed by a report issued by the party's parliamentary board.

BJP national general secretary Arun Singh said, “Bharatiya Janata Party's parliamentary board has appointed Nitin Nabin, a minister in the Bihar government, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national working president with immediate effect," in an official notification.

PM Modi Praises Nitin Nabin's Bihar Contributions

On the occasion of Nitin Nabin's appointment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered him congratulations, acknowledging the contributions of Nabin to the state of Bihar as a public servant and government official.

"Nitin Nabin Ji has distinguished himself as a hardworking Karyakarta. He is a young and industrious leader with rich organisational experience and has an impressive record as MLA as well as Minister in Bihar for multiple terms," the PM said.

JP Nadda Confident in Nabin's Leadership for BJP Growth

JP Nadda has led the BJP since January 2020 and is currently completing his term after being granted many extensions in order to serve the BJP through significant political milestones such as the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

In congratulating Nitin Nabin, Party President Nadda characterized the state of Bihar as a place of learning, civilization and culture, and regarded Nitin Nabin as a promising leader in the BJP.

"I have full confidence that under respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji's guidance and your leadership, the organization will establish new dimensions with the feelings of service to the nation and public. Best wishes for your successful and successful tenure," Nadda posted on social media platform X.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also congratulated Nitin Nabin and wished him success in his new position.

He is a diligent worker and a person endowed with imaginative capacity. From 5-Time MLA to BJP's Youngest Eastern Head

Nitin Nabin is one of the youngest heads of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at just 45 years old. In addition to being the youngest head of the party, he has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for five times and has the requisite credentials in a wide variety of ministerial responsibilities.

The organisational background of Nabin includes two decades of membership in various capacities.With Nabin being the first head of the BJP from both Bihar and all of eastern India, this shows that the BJP is shifting its focus more to the east in its future plans.

Nabin's 20-Year Rise and Family Political Legacy

Nabin is the son of Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, a long-time leader of the BJP and a former MLA. Nabin began his political career in the late 2000s, and he has since run successfully for election to the Bankipur constituency in 2010, having been re-elected four additional times.

Nabin's work as a minister in the Bihar government and as the BJP in-charge of Chhattisgarh, has demonstrated exceptional organisational leadership abilities.
