Abu Saifullah, Key LeT Terrorist, Shot Dead in Pakistan
Saifullah was behind the 2006 attack on the RSS office in Nagpur. In 2005, he was linked to the IISc attack in Bengaluru.

Matli (Sindh) [Pakistan], May 18: On a quiet Sunday afternoon, the streets of Matli in Sindh saw something shocking. Abu Saifullah, also known as Razaullah Nizamani, was killed near Phalkara Chowk. He had just left his house, unaware that danger was close. He was not an ordinary man; he had a past filled with violence and fear, especially for India.
Face of Terror
Abu Saifullah was born in Sindh and lived a simple life until he joined Lashkar-e-Taiba. With time, he became powerful. He used the name Vinod Kumar to hide his identity and married a woman from Nepal. His work was not limited to one place. He travelled often, raising money and planning big attacks that shook India many times.
He Planned Some of India’s Deadliest Attacks
Saifullah was behind the 2006 attack on the RSS office in Nagpur. In 2005, he was linked to the IISc attack in Bengaluru. He even planned the deadly strike on a CRPF camp in Rampur in 2001, where seven soldiers lost their lives. Each of these attacks created fear and sadness in India. He was a mastermind who stayed in the shadows.
Secret Work at Indo-Nepal Border
Saifullah didn’t just plan attacks. He also helped new terrorists enter India through the Nepal border. He managed money, travel routes, and weapons. He worked with Lashkar leaders like Azam Cheema and handled funds for both Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamat-ud-Dawa. His deep network made him a dangerous figure for Indian security agencies.
End Came Without Warning
After the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, Pakistan had warned LeT leaders to stay low. But Saifullah stepped out that day. Despite having security, he was shot dead in public. His own land became his final place. His end may bring relief to some, but the pain from his actions in India will not be forgotten easily.
