Baby John Box Office Collection Day 10: Varun Dhawan's Film Struggles To Attract Audiences, Removed From Single-Screen Theatres

New Delhi: The action thriller ‘Baby John’, starring Varun Dhawan, has bombed at the box office following a disappointing opening weekend. The film, which was supposed to be Varun Dhawan's foray into action, has failed to live up to the expectations.  One of the year's most anticipated releases, ‘Baby John’ was directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee. The film features Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff. 'Baby John' Box Office Collection Day 10 The film's earnings have been consistently below 5 crore rupees each day, with a precipitous decline by Day 10, despite a respectable debut. The film's total net collection was Rs 36.85 crore, with a pitiful Rs 0.45 crore garnered on its tenth day, according to Sacnilk. There was a lot of buzz leading up to its release on opening day, but it soon died down.  Further evidence of the film's difficulties is seen by its occupancy figures. On the tenth day, ‘Baby John’ had an overall Hindi occupancy of only 10.86%; the morning shows had an even lower percentage at 5.87%, the afternoon performances at 10.18%, the evening shows at 10.81%, and the night shows at 16.58%, which was a little better. The chances of a recovery are dimmed by this steep fall. Meanwhile, popular films such as 'Mufasa: The Lion King' and 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' have dominated the box office since its release, putting 'Baby John' in the shade.  Multiple single-screen theatres have reportedly dropped ‘Baby John' from their schedules in order to make room for the more popular 'Pushpa 2' and 'Mufasa', according to TOI. This has drastically reduced the film's exposure and chances of a comeback, leading to the cancellation of almost 2,500 screenings.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Jio Studios (@officialjiostudios) ALSO READ: Baby John Review: Varun Dhawan Starrer Is Proof That Not All Films Need A Remake
