He might miss some matches

Star batter was recently injured; following this, he had sports hernia surgery. This happened in the month of January. Currently, he is at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. He was very sure of getting fit before the IPL. NCA was about to give him fitness clearance, but his recent story indicates that he might miss some matches. The report says that he is not fully fit, so it might take some time to get fit. Batter is in full swing of getting fit as soon as possible, but it will take more than expected time. Fans are eagerly waiting for his comeback.

Super Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar is the number-one-ranked batsman in T20 internationals. His record is superb in the shortest format. Last year, he was also in very good form. He scored 605 runs at a fiery strike rate of 181.14. Batter scored five half centuries and one century. Before his injury, he was also in red-hot form. So if the batter misses some matches for MI, it could be a huge blow for them. The Mumbai Indians will play their first match against the Gujarat Titans on March 24 in Ahmedabad.

Mumbai will look for another trophy

The Mumbai Indians were not qualified for the IPL playoffs in the 2021 and 2022 editions. But last year, they qualified for the playoffs. They also defeated the Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator by 81 runs. They performed extremely well throughout the whole tournament. But they lost against the Gujarat Titans in the second qualifier. The Mumbai Indians are five-time champions, and this year they would like to add six more to their cabinet.

Hardik Pandya will be making comeback

Hardik Pandya will make a much-awaited return to competitive cricketing action when he takes the field for the Mumbai Indians in the 2024 Indian Premier League. The Indian all-rounder had been away from action since October last year, when he faced a shocking injury during the ODI World Cup match against Bangladesh.

Hardik as MI Captain

Hardik Pandya made headlines before the IPL auctions as he traded himself to his old franchise, the Mumbai Indians. He was the captain of the Gujarat Titans. He even led them for two years. He made them champions in the first season. They were runner-ups in their second season. Mumbai wanted their star all-rounder back, so they made him the offer of becoming the captain. He accepted the offer. It will be interesting to watch how he leads the Mumbai Indians. Rohit was very successful as he led them to five IPL trophies.
