Elvish Yadav Faces Trouble Over 'Fake Video' Claiming Police Escort in Jaipur
Rameshwar Singh, the Additional Commissioner of Police, explained that police security is provided only according with regulations.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] February 12: As per officials stated by news agency PTI, YouTuber Elvish Yadav has been arrested for letting go a false video claiming that he was escorted by the Rajasthan Police for a music video shoot in Jaipur.
Elvish Yadav's allegations were denied by the police, who added that the video producer didn't have any official security and that he had been charged with trying to damage the Rajasthan Police's name.
On Monday, Elvish Yadav posted a video to social media in which he is seen driving a car driven by Krishnavardhan, the son of former Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas.
In the footage, a police car then pulls up behind the car, and Yadav says the cops were escorting them. During their talk, Krishnavardhan mentioned that the police cars would change as they travelled through various jurisdictions.
HT.com was unable to independently confirm the video's reality.
However, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that "An FIR has been registered against him in the matter" and that the YouTuber was not given such an escort.
Rameshwar Singh, the Additional Commissioner of Police, added that Yadav did not receive an escort. According to him, police security is only offered in line with regulations.
The FIR against Elvish Yadav was filed at the internet police station on allegations of spreading a "fake video" that damages the Rajasthan police's reputation, according to ACP Kunwar Rashtradeep.
In addition to shooting a vlog, Yadav flew to Jaipur on February 8th to shoot a music video at Sambhar. This very vlog included a controversial video.
The footage also showed Yadav's automobile passing through a toll booth without paying any fees, followed by the police cruiser.
However, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, a former minister of Rajasthan, has removed himself and his son from the scandal, claiming that neither of them had asked for a police escort. "As a politician, I meet a lot of people, and Elvish Yadav has visited me frequently. I don't know who set up a police car or why it was there because my government isn't in charge," he stated.
Pratap went on to say that Elvish Yadav or the state management has to provide an explanation for the situation with the police cars. He made the remarks, "This issue is being stretched too much," to reporters.
The matter is under further investigation, police said.
