23rd June 2023, Mumbai: Asur 2 has been a resounding success. The series, which starred Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka, and many others, kept viewers on the edge of their seats the entire time. The tale of Shubh piqued everyone’s interest. The second season provided numerous answers, but the previous season left certain questions unanswered. Fans are anxious to learn whether season three is planned or not after the two most spectacular seasons. We spoke with the filmmaker Oni Sen, who revealed more about Asur 3. Are producers intending to give viewers yet another exhilarating journey?
Oni Sen said that season 3 won’t be produced just because the prior two seasons were successful when asked if he had any thoughts to offer about it. “The only insight I can share is that both Gaurav and I, we’ve discussed this and we’ve come to the conclusion that just because one and two became successful and we enjoyed doing it, that doesn’t mean that three has to be done,” he was quoted as adding.
“The urge is not there. Because each of these requires a significant amount of labour and takes a few years off of our lives. As a result, I believe that we have resolved to act once Gaurav has an idea of what and how the Asur 3 approach could be. And if it’s a great idea, he will get in touch with me, we will talk, we will make a call, and we will then make plans. I believe everything is currently in limbo. We are anticipating the spark. A spark is what Gaurav is yearning for. Do it this way, shall we?”
Fans will apparently have to wait a very long time for Asur 3—or maybe not! We’re crossing our fingers. A number of celebrities, including Meiyang Chang, Abhishek Chauhan, and others, debuted in the second season of Asur.
