9th October 2023, Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan the King of Bollywood have been on the Cloud 11 with his recent Bollywood blockbusters, Jawan followed by Pathaan However, recently Shah Rukh Khan gets Y+ security due to threat perception after Jawan and Pathaan successes.
SRK’s Threat and the Successes
Following the success of Pathaan and Jawan, reports suggested that the threats have been significantly increased to Shah Rukh Khan’s life. A notification came from Dilip Sawant, special IGP, VIP security, has urged all the team commanders to extend Y+ security, subject to payment, during Khan’s visits, engagements, and stays within their jurisdiction. This measure aims to diminish the potential risks and ensure a secure environment for the Jawan actor, till the high-level committee further updates and decision.
Y+ Security and Details
The Y+ security will be equipped with six police commandos from Maharashtra police
Special protection unit. Furthermore, the protection unit will be well equipped with MP-5 machine guns, AK-47 assault rifles, and Glock pistols, will cover Khan’s security tightly. Additionally, the bunglow will have continuous protection with four armed policemen.
It’s important to note that Shah Rukh Khan will personally bear the cost of this security, obeying to regulations that restrict private security in India from being armed with weapons.
SRK’s box office records
Jawan marched with in an impressive Rs 618.83 crore within India and soared to a thundering Rs 1,103 crore on the global box office. Similarly, Pathaan’s substantial success, collecting over Rs 543.05 crore domestically and an impressive Rs 1,050.3 crore in the worldwide box office, solidifying Shah Rukh Khan’s mark as a king of Indian cinema.
