5th July 2023,Mumbai: The 7th of July will see the debut of Vidya Balan’s new movie Neeyat, in which she plays a detective.  After a four-year absence, the actress is back on the big screen in what looks to be an exciting murder mystery. While the actress frequently discusses her career, she is less outspoken about her personal life. She discussed her marriage to Siddharth Roy Kapur and how they met in a recent conversation. She also admitted that before meeting Siddharth, she had given up on finding love and had never wanted to be married.

In a podcast, Vidya Balan claimed that she stopped looking after finding Siddharth Roy Kapur. In addition, she stated that she had never thought of herself as someone who could get married. “I wanted to be with someone, but I never saw myself getting married,” she said. “But as I got older—Parineeta happened when I was 26—and saw more success, I felt the need to share it with someone. I tried dating a couple folks, but it just didn’t work out,” she admitted. Vidya admitted that she was lonely and that she, too, was yearning for a relationship with someone with whom she could share her successes and failures outside from her family.

However, she was having trouble dating at the time. “I had a few bad relationships with the folks I dated. I was truly turned off by that and chose to just forget about it,” she stated. Vidya responded, “Yes, I did, when asked if she had been cheated on in a previous relationship. And that’s still another painful sort of rejection. ‘I’m not good enough,’ you think.” She continued, however, by saying that looking back, she is grateful that everything happened since it sorted the “wheat” from the “chaff.” She discovered that one must let rid of everything that isn’t beneficial to them. After that, she made the decision to only ‘date’ for pleasure instead of looking for something serious, which is when she met Siddharth Roy Kapur.

The cast of Neeyat includeincludees Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli, and Danesh Razvi, with Vidya Balan serving as the film’s star. Anu Menon, who last directed Vidya Balan in Shakuntala Devi, is in charge of directing this.
