4th October 2023, Mumbai: Yash’s extended appearance in the world of Ramayana created by Nitesh Tiwari is set to lit up the silver screen, the film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai pallavi in the principal characters, shooting begins in 2024.
1. From Rocky Bhai to Ravana: Yash’s extended appearance
If the reports are true our Rocky Bhai Yash has an extended apperance in the Ramayana saga helmed by the Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari with our beloved Animal Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi Playing the role of Shri Ram and Sita Mata. However, Yash’s character will lit up the silver screen mainly in the second part of the movie which is reportedly being set in the land of Sri Lanka.
2. The bollywood and Ramayana connection over years
The interestingness of Ramayana and the Indian film makers have grown over the past few years. With few prolific film-makers openly talking about their wish to make this epic tale. While some of the production house actually making it. Producer Madhu Mantena had spoke about his vission to lit up the silver screen with this epic tale by making it a Trilogy with the Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari captaining the crew and cast.
Moreover, the makers are now finally ready to march on to this epic journey in the quarter of 2024 and make the epic Ramayana saga with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash leading this amazing Saga.
3. About the lead characters: who is playing whom
The sawariya actor Ranbir Kapoor is set to play the role of Shree Ram in this epic saga. While the fidaa actress Sai Pallavi is going to essay the emotions and power of Sita Mata.
Meanwhile, Yash has joined them to play the role of Lankesh in this epic tale of love and Pride. Yash has expressed that he is very excited to go into this grey character of Ravana.
Furthermore information is that the first part of the movie will be more leaned towards the characters of Lord Ram and Sita Mata, leading towards the marriage and the epic Drama of Sita Haran.
4. This Ramayan saga begins in 2024
According to the reports suggest, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi respectively have finished their look test for their characters and are very much looking forward to dive into this epic world of Ramayana. The first part of the tale will begin from February of 2024. Moreover, Yash will join the team from July, his character will have its main movements of glory in the second part which will be set in Sri Lanka for 15 days.
