India v/s England: All eyes on KL Rahul and Shubman Gill as India starts Day 4 with 96 run lead
Today is the fourth day of the series' first test, which is in the hands of KL Rahul and Shubman Gill as they attempt to give India a huge advantage.

New Delhi (India) June 23: India's performance on Day 3 of the first Test match against England at Headingley, Leeds, was mixed. Although they had made significant runs and had Bumrah's historic five-wicket haul, they were only able to take a 6-run lead in the first innings due to England's Bazball strategy in the closing moments.
England managed to come back into the match despite missing the opening innings of the first Test match against India at Headingley by vice-captain Ollie Pope's century on Day 2 and then from Harry Brook's fast-paced 99 off 122 balls on Day 3.
By the end of day 3, the Indian batsmen had increased their lead to 96 runs by adding 90 runs for the loss of two wickets. They had done so with the same intention in the second innings.
India's performance on the third day of the Test match was poor as they lost a lot of runs and dropped many catches.
Jasprit Bumrah, the star fast bowler of India has also made hints that he may play more Test matches than initially anticipated during the England series. According to Bumrah, who had stated that he would only play three of the five Test matches in order to control his workload, his body feels much more rested in England's frigid climate.
At Headingley, the pace attack's skipper decided to destroy the England batting lineup. Bumrah took five wickets at a cost of 83 runs, while the other five bowlers in the lineup lost 382 runs.
He said, “It is feeling good. It is a little bit colder here than India. I am feeling fresh and good, so hopefully good things will follow."
Anything less than 250 will most likely not be sufficient against this English club, even if the pitch starts to deteriorate. Batting will be crucial in at least two of today's sessions since India needs to aim for a score far above 300 in order to have any kind of run pressure.
