6th October 2023, Mumbai: In a recent tragedy in Mumbai’s Goregaon west 7 people found dead and several got injured in a level-2 fire erruption. Reportedly, The massive fire outbreak happened in the midnight of Friday at 3:05am in a seven storey building of Goregaon West.

The Fire outbreak

According to the fire brigade commanders, the fire surge in the Jai Bhavani Building based on the MG road of Goregaon. The fire started from the shops to the ground floor and gradually fan the flames to the building.

Furthermore, as the fire outburst surged eight fire engines along with several water tankers and an ambulance reached to the spot.

Casualties and several injured rushed to the hospital

Atleast seven people were found dead and 40 of them got injured due to the level 2 fire outburst in the ground as well as in the mentioned building

However, five of the injured are said to in a critical stage. The injured were rushed to the HBT Trauma Hospital and also to the Cooper Hospital for treatment.

Fire was extinguished around 6am

The citizens quickly got aware of the fire outburst and started gathering on various floors and also on the terrace of the Building.

However, the fire was extinguished by the morning of around 6am
