Rajasthan Royals Win By Six Wickets v/s RCB in Rain-Hit Thriller

New Delhi (India) April 11:After a rain delay, the Rajasthan Royals celebrated a thrilling six-wicket victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday at the Barsapara Stadium. The win was fueled by impressive half-centuries from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel.
Royal Challengers Bangalore set a formidable target of 201 runs, thanks to Rajat Patidar's solid half-century and a late surge from Venkatesh Iyer. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl first in the damp conditions. Both teams made one change: Josh Hazlewood came in for RCB, with Tushar Deshpande sitting out, while Brijesh Sharma was included in the Rajasthan lineup.

RCB Scores 201 with Patidar's 63

The match got off to a dramatic start as Jofra Archer sent Phil Salt back to the pavilion on the very first ball. Despite this early setback, RCB bounced back through Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal. However, Archer struck again, removing Padikkal, while Kohli managed to hold his ground until he was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi. RCB's middle order struggled to form partnerships as wickets fell consistently. Rajat Patidar played a crucial innings under pressure, scoring a well-crafted 63 and keeping the innings afloat for a while with some support from Romario Shepherd. In the final overs, Venkatesh Iyer delivered a much-needed burst of momentum, pushing RCB well beyond the 200-run mark.
