YouTuber Couple Jumps From High-Rise Near Delhi Following Argument During A Shoot

A live-in couple allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the seventh storey of a high-rise flat in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. The city is around 20 km from the national capital, New Delhi.

Who were they?

The pair is named as Garvit, 25, and Nandini, 22. Both were content makers, running their channels and producing short films for sites like YouTube and Facebook.

Something about the past

A few days ago, the couple and their team relocated from Dehradun to Bahadurgarh, where they rented a flat on the seventh floor of Ruheela Residency and shared it with five other teammates.

Police’s response

According to investigators, the pair committed suicide around 6 a.m. today. They had returned home late from a shoot and disagreed about an undisclosed subject.

After receiving information about the occurrence, police arrived on the scene and transported the bodies for post-mortem examination. A probe is underway to determine whether the pair took the extraordinary measure.

Investigation

A forensics team was also on the site, gathering evidence to explore the circumstances surrounding the couple’s decision. CCTV footage from the region is being examined to determine the chain of events that led up to the incident.

“We are looking into the incident and will take appropriate action,” Jagbir, the case’s investigating officer, stated.
